At Peki in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region, a man is said to have beaten his mother-in-law badly because she wouldn’t allow her daughter to date someone else.
The attacker, whose name the police have not released, didn’t understand why the mother-in-law didn’t like his relationship with her daughter, which led to the attack.
Because of the attack, the mother-in-law has serious injuries on her face, head, and other body parts.
It was reported to the police that something happened in the Volta area, but the victim’s family is unhappy with how the case is being handled by the police and has threatened to take it to a higher authority.
The case has been brought to court, but the victim can’t afford a lawyer because of her financial position. She is asking for any lawyer who can help her through the court process.
Godwin A. Apullah, a host at Radio Grin at the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Nyankpala who has been following the story, wrote, “The first call I missed this morning was from a relative of the woman in this picture.” The boyfriend of her daughter attacked her, and she is in the hospital right now. This is not the first time this has happened. This is because the woman doesn’t want her daughter to be with the guy.
The man has ties to the police, which makes the case almost pointless. The case is in court, but the family can’t afford a lawyer, and the man has ties to the police.
They need help with this case from a lawyer or someone else. Please email me if you can help. Many thanks”
