Twene Jonas, who is famous on social media, has criticized rapper Sarkodie for using his best rhymes to criticize Yvonne Nelson instead of solving problems in the government.
Jonas, who is known for being vocal about social and political issues, was upset by Sarkodie’s latest song, “Try Me,” which was directed at actress Yvonne Nelson. The song was written in response to claims Nelson made in her book, I Am Not Yvonne Nelson, that the rapper was involved in an abortion.
Jonas scolded Sarkodie because he thought Sarkodie was using his talent to trick Ghanaians into voting for President Akufo-Addo, who Jonas blamed for all of Ghana’s problems. The loud critic questioned the rapper’s loyalty to the people and brought up the fact that Ghana is still facing problems and suffering under the present government.
“So, Sarkodie, you can rap like this, and Ghanaians chose President Akufo-Addo because of you. “Look at how unhappy people are because of your song “Happy Day,” he said
He thought that Sarkodie’s support for the president kept problems going, and he scolded the singer for not using his position to push for good change.
