Following a shooting incident that took place at Salaga Senior High School last Saturday, February 1, 2025, three suspects have been arraigned before the Magistrate Court. However, before their fates were determined, there has been a fresh attack.
This new attack has left one student unconscious and hospitalized. Several students who are mostly boys from Salaga, have taken to their heels and their whereabouts are still unknown.
According to reports from the community, on Thursday February 6, some students from the Salaga campus marched to the Headmaster’s office, demanding that the three suspects arrested by the police be released. These suspects were arrested following a violent confrontation between two of the student groups.
The students who went to the Headmaster’s office, claimed that the arrests were only focused on their group members and were one-sided. They therefore insisted that members of the second group should also be arrested and detained, so fairness can be achieved.
