Philipa Baafi, a gospel singer, has finally been accepted as a Physician Assistant by the Ghana Medical and Dental Council.
She posted photos of the colorful celebration on Facebook.
The ‘Go High’ hitmaker and singer took the chance to thank God for the good induction and for her success.
She wrote, “Family, please help me thank God for being accepted into the Medical and Dental Council as a Physician Assistant.”
In an interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central in the year 2020, Philipa Baafi said that she was working toward her lifetime goal of becoming a doctor.
She said, “It’s not true that I quit music because I got married and had a child. I went back to school to keep working toward my goal of becoming a doctor.
“I already have a fund that helps to give free medicine to sick, poor, and needy people, so I have a strong desire to become a doctor.
“At one point, I thought about going back to follow my youth dream so I could help people. So, thanks to God, I’m on track, and soon I’ll be a full-fledged Medical Doctor. That’s why I’ve been away from the music scene,” she said.
