President John Dramani Mahama has released a document indicating his second batch of Regional and Sector Ministers nominations.
Soon after his swearing-in, the President made three ministerial nominations considered to be primarily crucial, as he begins his term. The nomination categories were Minister of Finance, Minister of Justice and Minister of Energy.
Following this nominations and subsequent vetting of the respective individuals, the president also released documents on his first batch of Regional appointments.
In the same week, he has made National Security nominations, just soon after his visit to Bawku in relation to the ongoing chieftaincy disputes.
A document released today, January 16, 2025, lists the second batch of his appointments.
Notable amongst his nomination are, former minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu who is now the Education Minister-designate, and MP for the Adaklu constituency, Kwame Governs Agbodza, Roads and Hhighways Minister-designate.
Others include Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Minister- designate and Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister-designate.
