Christiana Awuni, a Ghanaian movie star, said that she was forced to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 polls.
In a video that Dehotpress.com witnessed, the actress said that producers and directors have told them to take her out of the show if she doesn’t do what they want.
“In 2016, our producers and movie directors forced us to support NPP even though we didn’t want to,” she said.
She said, “They warned us that if we join the NDC or back their candidate, we won’t be able to work with us anymore.”
She also said, “So we had to do what they said because that’s the only job we have, and if they don’t cast us in their movies anymore, we don’t have anything else to do to make money.”
“So we had to force ourselves to do it, but now we don’t know where those people are and we don’t care what they do next.
“Now that we’re on our own, the movie directors and producers can go burn the sea if they want, and it won’t bother us,” she said.
