Kennedy Agyapong, an MP for Assin Central who wants to be the leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), says he has been quiet on problems lately because he wants to run for president.
He says that his opponents want to use the fact that he has been vocal over the years about problems of national interest and his party against him, but he warned them that it won’t work.
The unconventional politician thinks that God has chosen him to lead the NPP and that nothing can change that. He promises to put his enemies in their place at the end of the day.
Kennedy Agyapong thinks that, no matter what happened in his past, he has the ability to help the ruling New Patriotic Party stay in power and keep building the country.
“Whenever you see or hear Kennedy Agyapong shouting on TV or radio, I’m either fighting for my party, the NPP, or Ghanaians who don’t have a voice,” he said.
“People say I like to talk and that’s why I’m not good enough to be president of NPP. I’ve chosen not to talk anymore because I’m now good enough to be president. I have everything I need to be the leader of the NPP and am qualified to be president of Ghana. “They can fight against me, but that won’t change God’s plan,” he told representatives from the Western North Region.
