Black Sherif, a famous rapper and singer, made his first trip to Gambia. His electrifying show at QCity wowed the crowd.
Over 10,000 fans enjoyed the show, which was put together by Shadez Entertainment and promoted by Sleek Promotions. It began at 9 pm and went on until early in the morning.
He sang all of his big hits, like “Kweku the Traveller,” “Yaaya,” and “Soja.” Black Sherif’s dress sense also stood out; he wore well-tailored clothes that looked like they belonged to women, which got a lot of attention.
People say that wearing this one-of-a-kind clothing was a way to honor the Gambian culture, which is open to gender flexibility and non-binary expression.
