Fantana, a Ghanaian reality show star who tried to be a singer but failed, has talked about how her dislike of school got her into a lot of trouble.
Fantana told Jay Foley in an interview that she always went to school and that she wasn’t a good student.
“I never liked learning, so whenever I go to school, I purposely do bad things to get kicked out. I went to about five different schools, and I was kicked out of each one. I didn’t like school…I didn’t like my teachers…I just couldn’t stand the idea of having to sit still and listen to boring lessons. Fantana revealed.
She went on to say that her mother, who is a member of parliament in Ghana, was never mean to her when she didn’t want to go to school because she knew Fantana hated school.
“My mom was great, but she never made me go to school against my will. In the US, we didn’t live together, but she was always there. There is someone smarter than me in my family. She is smarter than me because she loves school and learning. Fantana added.
Fantana, who is related to the dancehall star Shatta Wale, also said that she ran away to Ghana because she was sick of school and boring classes.
But Fantana made sure to finish High School to show her church and the people of Ghana that she wasn’t stupid.
