After a Youtong bus crashed into a fuel tanker at Gomoa Okyereko, 15 people died on the spot and 25 others were hurt very badly.
So, D.O. 3 Abdul W. Hudu, who is in charge of public relations for the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), says that the recent accidents on the region’s roads are due to people going too fast.
He told people driving on the highway to slow down. He told drivers on TV3’s noon show on Tuesday, May 30, to be careful on the road. At Gomoa Okyereko in the Central Region, there was an accident that killed 16 people and hurt many more. An accident happened between a fuel truck with the license plate WR 2063-10 and a Yutong bus going to Accra. The 15 people on board died right away.
