Norbert Atodio, a well-known businessman in Navrongo in the Upper East Region, has made people talk about his plans to bury his late father, Asoki Atodio, in a Toyota Corolla.
His choice, which is the first of its kind in the area, has caused a lot of debate, with people on both sides of the issue.
Mr. Atodio himself confirmed the story in a video while showing off the white car’s features. He said that burying his father in a car is a unique way to honor his father, with whom he had a very close relationship.
Even though the debate is still going on, plans are well underway for the unique burial of Mr. Atodio’s father in his hometown of Doba in the Kassena Nankana Municipality.
In a video shared by Senyalah Castro Cazo, a journalist from the area, the man said that he will make his late father’s grave a tourist attraction in the area, among other things.
He added to this by building a water fountain so that people from outside the area would come to honor his late father and see the famous grave for themselves.
Videos of the building work on the grave show that it has come a long way, and the businessman says again that he is determined to make the burial of his father a historic event.
Mr. Norbert Atodio is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a successful media company called Pure FM and PIO TV. He is also the CEO of Talent Scientific Herbal Centre, which is a unique herbal medicine center in the area. People in Navrongo know him for his charm and his desire to start his own business.
