A radio presenter named Dakoli was shamed and made to frog jump for speaking out against the Gulkpe Naa palace in Tamale in the Northern region.
The famous actor was being punished at Gulkpe Naa’s house in a video that became popular on social media. The people who were punishing him made rude comments about him.
The popular actor was punished by pulling his ears and jumping from corner to corner. He did this because he spoke badly about the Gulkpe Naa palace on the radio.
The actor is said to have said that chiefs in the area help crooks commit crimes against regular people.
“A well-known criminal in Tamale robbed and stole my coworker’s motorcycle with a gun. Later, someone saw the stolen motorcycle with the criminal and reported the crime to the Shishegu Chief Place, Sagnarigu, and Gulkpe Naa Palace.” When the bike’s owner came with the bike’s papers and key, the palace still wouldn’t give it to him.
“Even at the police station, if you show them all of your paperwork, they will give you back the motorcycle. So why is the palace not giving the motorcycle back to its owner?” He inquired
He claimed that the young men at Gulkpe Naa’s house were riding the motorcycle as a way to get around and would not give it back to its rightful owner.
“Things like this are making dagbon less valuable. Our ancestors always stood for what was right, but our leaders today don’t tell the truth because they’ll go hungry if they do.” He said.
We were told that this made the palace angry, so he was called in and told to do the frog jumps as a punishment for being rude.
