Aisha Huang, the boss lady and illegal mining leader from China, has finally been found guilty of mining crimes.
Aisha was given a 4-and-a-half-year prison term and a GHs48,000 fine. She was called the “galemsey queen.”
That was after the Criminal Division of the Accra High Court, which was led by Justice Lydia Osei-Marfo, found her guilty of running a mining operation without a license, helping people who were already running a mining operation, and hiring foreigners illegally.
She was also found guilty of entering Ghana while being banned from doing so based on her own plea.
