Agya Koo, a veteran Kumawood actor also known as Alex Kofi Adu, has expressed regret over not having the opportunity to raise his children overseas.
While still married to his ex-wife, the actor addressed issues from his first marriage and rumors surrounding his romantic involvement with a woman from the United Kingdom.
Agya Koo disclosed that he remained devoted and never fathered any children outside of their matrimonial union, despite their turbulent relationship and frequent journeys abroad during their seventeen years together. Agya Koo terminated his first wife’s marriage in 2013.
Fox FM conducted an interview with Agya Koo, in which he elaborated on the factors that led to his divorce.
He reflected that a few of his colleagues were the primary instruments used to damage his marriage. He further stated that he would have had numerous children with numerous women if he had been polygamous. He added that allegations of adultery on his wife’s part precipitated the dissolution of their marriage.
Agya Koo stated, “Had I truly enjoyed women, I would have had many children abroad. I was terrified of my spouse and feared for my life what she might do to me. While I was abroad, I never had children, and despite the advances of several women, I made every effort not to have any. Regarding honoring my wife, others recommended that I deliver my child overseas; I ought to have followed their advice. My infant would be twenty years old at this time.”
“Many of my associates contributed to the failure of that endeavor. I recall one occasion when I awoke my wife at 3 a.m. and cautioned her to exercise caution, as individuals are hatching schemes to destroy our marriage. I informed her that I had foreseen the forthcoming events and that those responsible were aware of the fact that it would not work with me, so they would do everything in their power to aim for her.
“At precisely that time, when all the major deals were being presented to me, individuals began exchanging contact information and maintaining correspondence with my wife.” They offered her guidance on a variety of matters. And the majority of these individuals were my coworkers. They would occasionally accommodate her at hotels for an extended period. I have this information and am acquainted with these individuals. He added, “I meet these individuals and continue to give them money.”
